Although, every profession has its own difficulty in certain areas, but perhaps being a lawyer has the toughest job description compared to other professionals. Most of them describe their job as the toughest, but also the most rewarding and fulfilling profession. They are important in the society, since they are the one who defend every right of individual in the justice scheme. There are several reasons why a certain person wants to become a professional lawyer. Personally, it is quite fulfilling once you engage in various court debates, perform great analysis, meeting deadlines and exploring some limitations. It takes deep commitment to succeed, since you have to take this profession three years on top of your four years in the undergraduate programs.

If you want to become a lawyer someday, you need to enroll and pass the entrance exam called the LSAT before accepted into a law school. You have to make sure that you obtained a high GPA rating from your college degree. Once you have completed your three years in school, you should take the bar exam. If you pass, you have to practice your profession in the state you took the exams.

However, finishing the first year in the law school is demanding. It means, that since a student needs to be competitive in terms of academics, most schools are prohibiting them to work more that twenty hours every week. This may affect the financial funding of a student. But, there are some schools that are offering part time job programs to help them with their career.

Most tuition fees as also higher compared to a regular course degree. Your attendance is much higher compared in acquiring your books, lodging, transportation, food and your entire living expense. So, if you do not have enough funds, your studies may also be affected through the years. There are grants that are also given to most candidates that also depends on the needs of a student.

Unlike medical schools, law schools mostly do not have classes to cultivate some weak candidates. Courses which include criminal procedure, civil procedure, contracts are just few important grounds in this field, but one of the toughest courses you need to complete. Most of them are also great as references to practice your profession.

Once you have graduated, you will also be granted with A Juris Doctor degree. This is an indication of all your hard work and achievements while studying. The same with other professionals, you must also obtain a license. Before given a license, you have to take bar exams. This is tougher compared to the LSAT.

Once you pass the exam, it is time for you to get a job. You have the choice to work being an intern or a clerk. This is a better method to enhance and to gain more knowledge in preparing for your career. Usually, you are paid for the position. Most civil lawyers that assist their clients for their legal conditions.

You can work in a large firm as long as you want to. However, you may also work or run your own law firm. This is quite hard, since you need to compete with larger firms in the industry. You can work in most government offices and teach in law schools as you desire.
