Visiting the Caribbean for a family vacation is definitely a perfect way to create some life long memories. Relaxing and having fun in a slice of paradise with activities and treats for everyone will ensure that everyone gets the most out of the experience. Here is a list of the various kinds of all inclusive family resort Jamaica has to offer.

Beaches is the counterpart for families of the Sandals group, which is known around the world for its services. Jamaica has two Beaches resorts, namely Boscobel and Negril. The latter is located on the western coast of Jamaica, while Boscobel is on the northern coast, a 2 hour drive away from Montego Bay, just past Ocho Rios.

Boscobel boasts several kids' programs for all ages. There is also an infant care service, which parents can take advantage of when they need to relax or enjoy quality time with the other children. Older kids can enjoy the gaming centers on site and the younger children will love taking advantage of Beaches' partnership with Sesame Street. On site, there are activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, novelty pools and golf for all ages.

Like Boscobel, Negril has a partnership with Sesame Street. Situated on a beach seven miles long with 1000 feet of shore, this will be a holiday to remember. Snorkeling and scuba diving are also on offer here, but there are also boat trips available for snorkeling at the coral reef. At Negril itself, there are river pools and water slides for everyone to enjoy.

The Franklin D Resort is special in that it caters specifically to families. Located on the north coast, what makes this resort special is the inclusion of a vacation nanny for every family that stays there. The vacation nanny is available from 9am to 4pm, but can stay on for an extra hourly fee into the evening. The nanny can accompany kids to resort activities so that parents can enjoy themselves as well.

At Franklin D, there is a total of 76 large suites available. Boardwalk dining adds to a wonderful ambiance and there is so much for the family to enjoy from magic shows for the kids to evening entertainment of dance and fire-eaters for the adults. Other activities include bike rides, glass bottom boat rides, tennis, windsurfing, kayaking and power walks for the adults.

The Half Moon Resort is really about as good as it gets when it comes to families. Located in Montego Bay, just 10 minutes away from the airport, this accommodation is free for children under twelve when they are rooming with adults. Furthermore, anyone under the age of twelve gets half off of all meals.

Half Moon has a number of different options for every budget. Superior rooms and even private villas are available, with up to 7 bedrooms in a private villa. The all-inclusive Platinum Plan for a private villa comes with its own pool, a butler service and a cook. Guests also receive a golf cart of their own to move around the 400 acres of Half Moon with. Half Moon boasts 3 free-form pools for everyone to share, an Olympic-sized pool, a putting green and championship golf course and tennis courts.
