The only disadvantage is that having consistent fresh supply from these farmers alone can be hard and some vendors get products from outside and sometimes it might be better than those produced locally and hence honest working farmers can earn less compared to those that outsource.
Despite them making good profits and being relevant in this region, they face a few problems. The main one being continuous supply of some fresh products. This is because it is an unavoidable fact that as some products get in season some get out of season and this has seen vendors having to outsource to continuously supply all products.
