The Episcopal Church In Lake Norman NC Is Bible Based

By Sandra Schmidt

Millions of lives all over the world have been positively transformed by the powerful messages of Christianity. That is the plain truth. It is the ultimate reality. The religion of Christianity has existed for thousands of years. It is the world's most populous and popular religion. Presently, there are billions of Christians all over the world making it the most followed religion in the world. In the United States alone, there are millions of Christian believers. Some of them belong to the Episcopal Church in Lake Norman NC. The doors of the Episcopal Church are always opened to all and sundry.

The Episcopal Church is Bible based. That is the truth. It is the reality. A true Episcopalian believes in the Bible a hundred percent. He does not have any doubts about Scripture. He knows that heaven and earth will pass away but no single word of Scripture will pass without being fulfilled fully. The Scripture is holy and inspired.

Every true Christian believer out there should remember that the Bible is holy, true, and inspired. Thus, it should not be taken lightly. Scripture needs to be taken seriously because no single word of Scripture has ever failed. Every believer should read and understand the Bible. Group study of Scripture is also encouraged by the Episcopal Church. This facilitates a deeper level of understanding.

Scripture starts with the book of Genesis and end with Revelation. In between, there are many books that will encourage the believer to live a righteous life. Some books are prophetic in nature due to the fact that they were written by prophets. There are Bible books that are usually considered as gospel books. They include the gospel of Matthew.

The most feared book in the whole of Scripture is the Book of Revelation. Many believers fail to understand this book and they try to avoid it as much as possible. That should not be the case. There is the need to embrace and study the book of Revelation as is the case in the Episcopal Church of the United States of America.

The New Testament requires believers to be baptized. That is exactly what happens in the Episcopal Church. Before a person can become a member of this congregation, he first has to be baptized using water. The baptism process will take place in a river or a lake. The water will first have to be blessed before the whole affair can happen.

Without baptism, the repentance of sin, and righteous living, one will not be able to see eternal life. Instead, eternal death will be the order of the day. One needs to find forgiveness for sins. The good news is that forgiveness is offered free of charge through the process of baptism. Actually, this is the age of grace.

Being a Christian is the best decision that a person can make. Every day, many people usually convert to Christianity. No one is forced to be a Christian as is the case with the other religions out there. The whole affair has to be a personal decision. One also has to personally decide on the church that he will join.
