Latest Nigerian Events In Development

Many stories make up the headlines of the news on what is new in Nigeria. Event planners are having a tight schedule aiming at putting together different functions. There are several latest Nigerian events, the current being shows that brings agriculture and business together.

The main aim of the function is to carry out research and find out the potential areas for agriculture to thrive. This will help ensure that there is food security, creation of employment and eventually generation of wealth in the country

The killing of an average of seventy people belonging to an Islamist terror group also made recent headlines. Those responsible for this are the military troops of Nigeria during one of their many tasks. This was not the first time that these two groups were colliding as similar cases had been witnessed in the past.

Those individuals who are specialized in research in arts, education and social sciences have a workshop put in order for them. Here, the importance of research in relation to development is presented.This puts emphasis on the young generation who are the main participants of development. They are supposed to be able to come up with new development ideas that are beneficial to both the local residents and the country at large. No other state in that part of Africa has had the chance to have such an event taking place in their country. The top cream of the financial and business department is expected to attend and give speeches on how to deal with the many hardships in Africa and also looking into the opportunities of development in the continent.

Still in connection with the Islam troop, they are said to have kidnapped school girls from a secondary school located in place known as Chibok. This town is mainly dominated by Christians and the motive for this doing is not clear but some say that they will be converted to slaves or forced into marriages which are wrong. People are mainly engaging themselves in prayers hoping for the best.

Other news report that the elections planned next year may not be successful. Insecurity is partly to blame for this. This is because with such a high rate of crime, the time is not yet ripe for new leaders to be chosen and according to their constitution, if elections are not held then the reigning president is bound to continue serving but all in all, this is just a general view.

Lastly, the lives of Nigerians are in danger as many explosives are being ported. The public service vehicles are a common target. Security personnel are holding some suspects believed to be responsible for these attacks in the cells with the aim of carrying out a thorough investigation upon them.
