The Beliefs Of The First Baptist Church San Antonio TX

By Jason Turner

The most powerful human sense is belief. It is something innate. It is that little, silent and still voice but it can do wonders in the life of a person. Staunch Christian believers will not walk by sight but they will walk by the sense of their belief. They will see great things before their eyes and hear many amazing things because of their deep Christian belief. As for a true follower of a First Baptist Church San Antonio TX, Christian beliefs found in the Holy Bible are held dear. They are treasured beyond everything in the present day life.

A Baptist is a Christian believer. He believes in Christian tenets core of which is Baptism. The Christian life starts at the point of Baptism. It is the Baptism process that makes one to be a believer and sets a person aside for the lofty things of the spirit. According to the New Testament, many are called but only a few are chosen.

Baptism is a simple exercise but it makes a very big difference in the life of an individual. In just a few minutes, one will be transformed from a person doomed to destruction to one destined for the beauties of eternity. Sin is dangerous. The wages of sin are death. Baptism involves denouncing sin in all its shapes and forms.

After baptism, one should commit to living a holy life. That will require an individual to keep good company in his life. As it is commonly said, bad company destroys good behavior. That saying also applies in modern day life. A company of believers will help to nature good behavior in a person. One should find good friends.

The entire Baptist belief is fully rooted in the Holy Bible. Without this book, Christianity would not have existed in the first place. Thus, it is the book that gives hope to the Christian believer that there is a better life at the end of the tunnel. There is no book that has ever been true and holy like the Bible.

No man has ever followed the Bible and end up disappointed in life because its message is supreme and above everything. The prophets of the Old Testament are proof enough of how a life of faith always has rewards on earth and also in Heaven. In the books of the New Testament, the message of faith and holiness are still emphasized. The book of Revelation marks the end of time.

The signs of the end are very clear. There will be suffering and distress all over the world and then the end will come and it will be a moment of great joy to the believer because it will mark the end of all the suffering and the start of a blissful life. Blessed are those who will be granted entry to eternity.

Christianity is more than a movement. It is a spiritual force that has immense power that cannot be fully described using human words. Christians have suffered in the hands of tyrants because of their beliefs but they have always come out of the persecution stronger. Catholicism and Protestantism are all Christian denominations. They do not contradict each other but they actually complement each other.
