What One Should Know About Churches That Observe The Sabbath Winnipeg

By Carol Robinson

Christianity is a beautiful religion. It is more than just a religion. As a matter of fact, it is a way of life or more accurately, a lifestyle. The Christian lifestyle involves living in peace with every man. It involves a sinless life characterized by a high level of morality. The moral and peaceful nature of Christianity has drawn many people to it. Christianity gives people hope of a better life in the present world and a perfect life in eternity. Christianity has its roots in Israel from where it spread to different continents. There are many churches that observe the Sabbath Winnipeg.

The Sabbath means varied things to different people. To some, it is simply a day of rest. However, many people view it as a day for resting and worshiping. The concept of the Sabbath started with the Jews in the Old Testament. Even up to the present day, it is still observed by Jews in Israel and other countries.

Some Christians go to church on Saturday. On the other hand, there are those who worship on Sunday. On the other hand, Muslims worship on Friday. As a matter of fact, any day is good for worship. Nowadays, many churches in America as well as in other parts of planet earth usually have weekday services from Monday to Saturday.

The day or time of worship is of little or no consequence. At the end of the day, what matters the most is the purpose of worship and the kind of life that an individual lives for the rest of the week. Thus, one should not merely be a Saturday or Sunday believer. There is need to practice righteousness all the days.

Righteousness is the true hallmark of an Adventist. It is what sets him apart from the crowd. A Christian should be the light and salt of the world. There should be a stark difference between believers and unbelievers. That must not make believers to discriminate the unbelievers. Actually, they should show them love according to the Ten Commandments.

Every believer is born with sin. There is the original sin which was inherited from Adam and Eve. This sin will only be removed through the process of Baptism. For the case of Roman Catholicism, only the head is baptized. For the case of the other denominations including the SDA, baptism involves full water immersion. A new life will start after baptism.

Of course, the Christian walk is not a lone wolf affair. One will require help along the way. Thus, joining a church is vital. One should make sure to attend as many services as possible. The sermon of the clergy will help an individual in his walk of faith. Praise and worship is a crucial activity in a service.

Most humans are religious. The earth has over six billion human beings. Over 5 billion people believe in some kind of religion. Of course, a good portion of believers classify themselves as Christians. That is also the case in Winnipeg, Canada. There are Canadians who are Adventists. These individuals fully believe in the Bible. As a matter of fact, the Bible is the most holiest and powerful book ever written.
